Website redesign
Overview:
I led the full redesign of the Anna Julia Cooper School website to create a more modern, accessible, and brand-aligned online presence. My tasks included:

Developing a cohesive visual identity using brand colors, typography, and consistent UI elements

Redesigning the site’s layout and navigation to improve usability and user experience

Creating custom WordPress templates with Elementor, using responsive design best practices

Building engaging content sections, including a “Fast Facts” area and custom faculty profiles using dynamic fields

Focusing on UX principles like clarity, accessibility, and mobile optimization

Collaborating with stakeholders to align the site’s design with the school’s values and communication goals
This project highlights my skills in UI design, brand development, responsive web design, UX strategy, and design systems.
2022-2023 Annual report
Overview:
I was tasked with creating the Annual Report for Anna Julia Cooper School's 2022-2023 school year. In previous years, they had only printed a physical report and it was difficult to distribute. When I joined the team, I suggested a digital version that would be easy to send and share with more supporters, as well as save on print costs. I created a responsive web page version, as seen above, as well as the traditional print report (seen below).
